The Hot Day
Today was a very hot day. And it was even hot in the houses. When we got out of my friends' house, I RAAAAN to the car to get some very cold air. But the car wasn't cold, the tram stop wasn't cold, and even the house wasn't cold! Since we don't have air conditioning, so my mom needed to use this large fan from Casey's room. Today it was 43 celsius which is 108 fahrenheit.

That's really really hot!!!! Today in Texas, it was so cold and icy that the schools were closed! Kids were ice-skating and sledding on our street because it was so icy! Isn't that crazy??? I hope your days are less hot and less itchy! Keep writing!

Dearest Ripley, I hope that you are cooled off now and feel more comfortable. I can't believe that it was sooooo hot! I hope that it cools down a bit so you can go home soon.
It is funny that Emma was freezing in Texas and you are boiling in Australia!!
Taz and I took a walk today--he sniffs out the bunnies and the lizards but does not do anything to them. He looks at other dogs that pass us but he just keeps walking! I give him a drink of water from my water bottle and he slurps it--Taz and I are sharing!! Las night, he shook himself so loudly that it woke me up! He is a funny doggie! Miss you--lots of love from Grandpa and me. xxxx Grandma
